Why observe?
Observing children and the dynamic environment can improve our practice of teaching. Teachers research is a fundamental part of our work. Making observations and monitor the child's progress through the curriculum (Creative Curriculum) helps teachers offer support to the children’s learning and possibly identify delays based on ASQ questionaries and preset level of developmental domains in Teaching Strategies. Parent-teacher conferences are a vital component of a child's learning. Our conferences provide an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect with the teacher and discuss the child's overall progress and performance at the center. What we expect to gain with PTC: 1. A Partnership for Success 2. Understanding Your Child's Progress 3. Addressing Concerns Early 4. Setting Goals Together 5. Key of Open Communication 6. Facilitate Time for Therapy Sessions in the Classrooms |
MESAC offers two PTC in the year. During PTC, the school is closed for the students.
Juneteenth holiday. Veteran holiday. Families are welcome to request a date for PTC apart from these two set of dates. |
