We believe that each child is unique and that they all learn at their own pace. Here at MESAC, we approach the child needs by creating responsive daily routines and meaningful learning experiences. We use The Creative Curriculum as an instructional tool to support and promote child development.

Assessments

Our teachers perform formal observations using Smart Teach by Teaching Strategies which measure the progress of development and learning. The objectives and domains are aligned with the District of Columbia Early Learning Standards. Child Portfolios are built and shared with the families during the Parent Teacher conferences.
