Open Positions

Lead teacher
​Position: Lead Teacher
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications:
  • CDA credential required, AND
  • Associate degree in ECE or associate degree with at least 12 credit hours in ECE, OR
  • 60 hours of college coursework with at least 12 credit hours in ECE, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE, or a bachelor’s degree with at least 12 credit hours in ECE.
  • Fluency in Spanish required.
  • Strong classroom management skills and creativity in lesson planning.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills for lesson planning, tracking attendance, and communication.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement immersive Spanish-language lesson plans.
  • Foster the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Communicate regularly with families about their child’s progress.
  • Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive learning environment.​
Assistant teacher
Position: Assistant Teacher
Type: Full-Time
Qualifications:
  • No credentials required if actively pursuing a CDA credential (must enroll within [X months] of start date and complete within [X time frame]).
  • CDA credential or equivalent preferred, AND/OR
  • Associate degree or 60 hours of college coursework in any field is an asset.
  • Fluency in Spanish required.
  • Ability to support lead teachers in implementing immersive lessons.
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and fostering bilingual development.
  • Physical ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills for assisting with documentation and classroom tasks.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist lead teachers in managing classrooms and implementing lesson plans.
  • Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety.
  • Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive environment.
  • Communicate with families as needed and support classroom organization.​
Volunteer
Type: Volunteer (Part-Time, Flexible Hours)
Responsibilities:
  • Assist lead teachers in managing classrooms and implementing immersive Spanish-language lesson plans.
  • Supervise children during activities and ensure their safety.
  • Assist with fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate with families and staff as needed.
  • Support classroom organization and lesson execution.
Qualifications:
  • No credentials required, but must be actively pursuing a CDA credential.
  • Must be enrolled in a CDA program within [X months] of starting and complete the program within [X time frame].
  • Fluency in Spanish required.
  • Enthusiasm for working with young children and helping them develop bilingual skills.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and classroom support.
Additional Information:
  • This position is unpaid and intended to provide practical experience to fulfill CDA certification requirements.
  • Flexible hours based on your availability, and hours worked can count towards CDA certification.
