We are excited to announce the launch of our Summer Camp at MESAC CDC located at 1782 Columbia Rd. NW. The program is designed for children ages 3 to 5. This summer will be full of adventure as it will offer a wide range of unique, hands-on activities that spark creativity and encourage exploration.

Children will enjoy nature walks, outdoor obstacle courses, storytelling circles, hands-on gardening, and sensory play stations that stimulate the senses and inspire curiosity. They’ll also get to participate in themed treasure hunts, water play fun, and interactive art projects that allow for free expression and imaginative play.
Our camp environment is designed to be safe, nurturing, and enriching, giving young children the opportunity to explore, socialize, and develop important early learning skills while embracing the fun and freedom of summer.

Through play, creativity, and teamwork, we foster curiosity, independence, and friendship in a welcoming and supportive setting.
We look forward to giving your child a memorable, joyful, and educational summer!

Weekly Themes for Discovery & Fun

Each week of our Summer Camp will focus on a fun and engaging theme that incorporates a variety of hands-on activities, creativity, and adventure. With a mix of learning and play, your child will experience something new every day! Our weekly themes include:

Adventure Weeks:
Two weeks of exploration, outdoor fun, and exciting challenges!
  • Field Trips: Our exciting excursions will include visits to the zoo to explore wildlife, neighborhood walks to discover the hidden gems of our community, and trips to local museums where children can immerse themselves in art, history, and science exhibits—sparking curiosity and hands-on learning.
  • Camping: Children will have the chance to build their own tents in the park, turning our outdoor space into a mini campsite. Through dramatic play, they’ll immerse themselves in the role of explorers, telling stories around an imaginary campfire, playing nature-inspired games, and using their creativity to bring the camping experience to life.
  • Water park: We’ll take advantage of the nearby water park, where children can splash, play, and cool off in a safe and exciting environment. With fountains, water sprays, and shallow pools, kids will enjoy hours of outdoor fun while developing motor skills, enjoying water games, and cooling down on warm summer days. It’s the perfect place for fun-filled, water-based adventures!
  • Picnic: Enjoy an active outdoor picnic with fun games and healthy snacks, promoting fitness, socializing, and outdoor play.
